DECEMBER 2022
2023 is bound to be a very welcome new beginning for everyone! If your New Year’s resolution is to get out more and have some fun, you are in the right town! Charleston has a lot happening in the middle of winter. From a real, live rodeo, to a wedding expo, to a hunting & fishing show, to the talented and entertaining Harlem Globetrotters. And THAT is just at the Charleston Coliseum & Convention Center (CC&CC)!
The internationally acclaimed NPR show “Mountain Stage” has two performances this month along with FOOTMAD (Friends of Old Time Music and Dance), all three events at the WV Culture Center on the grounds of the WV State Capitol.
Rodney Carrington, the multi-talented comedian, singer, actor, and writer who has sold out shows all over the globe, comes to the Municipal Auditorium on Jan. 21.
Please note that this show is not suitable for the entire family. 16+ “Mature Audiences Only” is suggested, with the first 5 rows not to be seating anyone under 14.
“WINTER JAM”, Christian music’s biggest tour, comes to the CC&CC on Sunday, Jan. 22. The hilarious Broadway play “The Book of Mormon” will be performed at the Clay Center at the end of January.
Winter 2023 is here, but the year is beginning with a lot of entertainment and cool performances. There will be a LOT to look forward to!!!
Happy New Year!
